SHEW - sorry if this is depressing tonight.

It's been a week and that has made me think it's time to get my thoughts out, send an email to family and friends etc.

I also had two goodbyes today - which tend to make me introspective. I could have written one post a day for a few days...but I knew it was time to answer questions and share my heart.

Now if you came here to find the summer reading challenge and you are wondering WHAT you stumbled on to - simply click on the link below the graphic in the sidebar.

  1. It's been quite a week for you.{{{{hug}}}}

    Shall I pray for a boring week ahead, where nothing happens?

  2. YES!!!!!

    I was thinking yesterday instead of the refrain "Jesus, send the rain" in the worship video I should sing "Jesus - send me boredom". LOL

  3. LOL Boredom is lovely at times, but be careful what you pray for. We've had the "never pray for patience" discussion, haven't we?!

  4. Truly, honestly, many of the things I've prayed for can only develop in my life through trials....but yes, we did have the patience discussion. LOL

  5. Thanks for letting us in on a little glimpse of your memorial service and your thoughts. I love how your family REALLY rejoices together as well as grieve together. It's such a rare thing to see in families now a days. I'm really so sorry you're going through this but I love how you've truly used it to grow closer to God.

    Hugs,

Your speech should always be gracious, {as though} seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.
