The older boys and Arielle couldn't sleep well last night. I'm itching something fierce this a.m.
I wonder if I'll EVER get them to go geocaching again?????
This is NOT the worst...they are worse around the waistband and lower, around bra lines, ....and I ain't taking or posting photos.
Ug....I remember chiggers growing up in Texarkana (on the Texas side). I don't miss 'em! :) But really, no pics of the chigger bites around the bra line? Has modesty gotten the best of you? LOL :0)
ReplyDeleteOh dear, that looks very uncomfortable. How long does it take to heal from those? Yikes!
ReplyDeleteHope you all feel better soon.
Sios:
ReplyDeleteIs there any kind of stuff you can rub on that will keep the chiggers off of you?

Oh SHOOT - I counted in the shower! I quit counting at 74...and I have them in the most immodest spots. Jamin has tons on his back so he let me grab a photo...the rest of us have immodest chiggers...and they are driving us nuts.
ReplyDeleteI have no idea how long it takes...we've gotten them on legs before but this is something....we were laying in a flowerbed looking for the cach for over 30 minutes.....didn't find it either!!!!
I have no idea mom. We're doing finger nail polish and this chiggerex stuff now but I'm not sure it really helps - guess it makes you THINK you are doing something.
ReplyDeleteDe'Etta, your poor family! Praying for healing and no more itchies!!
ReplyDeleteUGH! That looks awful.
ReplyDeleteIt's MORE colorful now - I went and bought the CHEAP fingernail polish and got lots of colors....::snort::
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I remember chiggers from Virginia. There is definitely a price to pay for warm weather - bugs!!
ReplyDeleteSorry this has hit the family so hard. Are people taking Benedryl for the itchies?
Kathy - I am trying EVERYTHING that is suggested to us....benydryl was MY idea.
ReplyDeleteUgh!! That looks very miserable. I have never had chiggers before.
ReplyDeletePraying it goes away soon!!
Laura
The picture alone makes me itchy!
