The Yada Yada Prayer Group Gets Rolling by Neta Jackson and Bye Bye Black Sheep by Ayelet Waldman.

I've finished another book in each of these series: The Yada Yada Prayer Group and The Nursery Crimes. Both more of the same in each series. I find myself liking the characters in Yada Yada more with each book. LOL I actually finished these books a week ago but decided I'd never find the time to write reviews.

  1. Ooooh....I want to read that one now! I haven't seen if the local library will get it (most likely, NOT)...so I'll have to fork out a few bucks and buy it, I guess......

I haven't heard of the Nursery Crimes...who writes that series?

Have you ever read the Dearest Dorothy series? These are a HOOT! Written by Charlene Ann Baumbich...her main character is an old lady, but the books are just SUCH fun to read!!!

  2. De'Etta, I finished reading the first of the Yada Yada Prayer group after reading about the book review on your blog. I really like it! I'm getting the book you mentioned from bookmooch and will include it in my fall reading challenge.

I haven't yet read any of The Nursery Crimes.

  3. I plan to try to read this series after I start/finish the Redemption series that Emily reviews on her blog.

  4. LOL, I liked the first YadaYada book enough to continue, but that was about it. There were a lot of characters, and I couldn't always keep them straight. I also did not like Jody in the first book. As I continued reading, their individual personalities began to emerge, and I like Jody now too.
