I Take it Back! Prayer Request!
A few posts below I suspected that Zander was plotting to have a "good time" on quarantine.
This a.m. I woke up to the above. He HAS a fever. I'm not sure what is going on, because he insists it's the game piece he swallowed months ago. He's had water and will have meds later as needed. I've taken him a banana.
Please do pray this is quick and doesn't go through the whole family. I leave on a plane in the a.m. Mike leaves on Thursday. BreAnne is flying out to spend 4 days of fun and adventure with the children at home......and I don't want her to have to deal with sick kidlets the whole time we're gone. Of course, my quarantine routine usually keeps it from flying through the entire home. BTW Zander on the couch broke a big quarantine rule. ::snort::

It's Satan trying to prevent you and Mike from getting to where you need to be..... We had LOTS of things go wrong the day we were flying out to visit a Catholic college.
ReplyDeletePraying for all of you.
ReplyDeleteAs I'm having to tell myself outloud every day -- stay focused.
And bless his heart -- to have a sick photo posted online. The things we bloggers get away with....hopefully the kids won't be in therapy when they're 30....
De'Etta, I'm praying hard here. Before our *trip* to Hawai'i, we had a similar experience.
ReplyDeleteHope he is getting better. Go to my blog, I gave you an award.
ReplyDeletePoor guy! Mine was up at 1:30 in the morning sick again, too. I'm with Renee. Our family has been talking about spiritual warfare a lot the last few months...
ReplyDeletePrayers that he's feeling well and it stays contained to one little guy.
Zander does look pitiful! I hope he will get better and that your quarantine program works!
ReplyDeleteLove your new, seasonal blog look!

ReplyDeleteMEL - STAY FOCUSED - that's what I forgot....I'm getting there - bills and packing and I'm done.
ReplyDeleteThanks ladies, prayers spiritual warfare....Darshia - you know me well - thanks.
Bobbie Jo I so wish you were coming with us!
Trevor still talks about the quarter he swallowed when he was two. Except that he didn't.
ReplyDeleteAt D-Day Camp this summer, he took a bite of the snack, gagged, and asked the leader if it had nuts. Yes, it did. "I'm ALLERGIC to nuts!" he cried. The moms were scrambling, several hovering, quite panicked, as I walked in. They were so upset, apologizing as they're telling me what's happening.
I felt AWFUL. "He's NOT allergic to nuts," I had to tell them.
But he thinks he doesn't like them. (He's 10. Sigh.)
