EVERYONE IS HOME!

Those last few feet as you can SEE them, but have to wait for the luggage, are exquisite. We filled the time by taking photos on both sides of the window. ::snort::

I cried when I hugged these men. I don't know why, but it was incredibly emotional to see them. Krista suspects it has to do with the fact that the girls left home 4 years ago and this is the first time the "boys" have come home. Probably. I'm so incredibly blessed to have them home.

Everyone was talking, Stacia walked in, turned the piano on, grabbed Jamin and said, "Let's dance."

A few minutes later she said, "Jamin, now it's Cy's turn!"

We drove 1 1/2 hours to sight see. We came home for dinner. It is great fun to have Eleven of us together again. We brought the table from the library down and added three TV trays....but we all fit.

We started a family gift exchange tonight. It takes a bit of time with this many folks. When Josiah and Jamin began fading we had mercy and quit. They're in bed. Krista and Arielle are calling it a night. Nolan and Mike are playing with Nolan's new chess set. The rest of us are "settling".

We'll fit as much as possible into the next few days.

  1. AWESOME!!! This is the post we have been waiting for. We too are so happy you are all together for a bit.

Think 'K' is right about the crying.... and it also is the last ones to reach and the family is now complete. ENJOY to the hilt the few days you have together.

Looking at the pictures we can almost hear Jamin with his delightful and individual laugh. How diplomatic of Stacia letting Jamin have the 1st dance. :):):)

Thank you so much for sharing this time with us.

    love/prayers Dad/Mom & G'Pa/G'Ma T.

  7. Celebrating while looking at all the pictures. All was fine, until I came to the picture of Stacia hugging Cy in the airport. That is so precious. Praying you celebrate and CHERISH these days of the 11 of you together.

  9. BTW all that display of emotion and affection in a Japanese airport is also not appropriate, but I noted that 98% of the Japanese were smiling big and all bowed and smiled and greeted us as we left the airport. They are fairly aware of American airport customs around here with so many deploying, leaving and coming from our small airport all the time.

  10. Sis: I forgot to mention that I find it interesting the flower thing for departed souls. However even more interesting is the thought of aborted kids..... America wake up and see.... even those of other countries admit that a fetus is actually a real human. love/prayers --- Mom T.
