This co-op is a bit different. This was only the first week so it was chaotic for those setting it up; but I’m thrilled. {G} They let everyone order exactly what they wanted:“5 lbs of Pink Lady” and “2 lbs of Roma tomatoes”. This makes so much more work for THEM but such wonderful choices for us. The truck doesn’t deliver in our town so it was quite late by the time we got our things. During our three years in Alaska we really missed the abundance of fresh produce that we were used to. It was so FUN to bring in the cases and boxes of produce last night and see everyone gather around and eat up. One funny thing is that I didn’t realize they liked kiwis but a friend wanted 10 so I bought them for her. 2 of her kiwis went missing.
For the children yesterday was especially great because I kept 4 of Adrienne’s boys while she drove out to get the produce. Everyone was great…they had a lot of fun. I was a bit unnerved by the amount of activity to track. Once I realized I should just grab a book and sit in the living room…..all the activity would eventually swirl around me – we were fine. It was COLD yesterday so we had to think of inside things to do. Yes, it WAS cold and is today!!!! We even have frost outside this a.m.
Here are some pictures of the fun.

Your speech should always be gracious, {as though} seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.
