TEA CHESTS

Do any of you have tea chests? Worth it? Not? I don't know that it would work with my favorite teas because I'm guessing you would need tea that is sealed in pouches to keep the flavors from mingling....but it is nice to think of an organized way to store tea. LOL

  2. I'm not sure what you mean by a tea chest either. {g}

    Here, a tea chest is 4 feet high, 2 feet square. They are the boxes in which tea is imported by wholesalers from India and China and favourite types of boxes used for moving house!

    I packed a lot of my kitchen equipment in old tea chests to be shipped across the Atlantic.

    I guess I can't imagine one of those next to your kettle. {g}

    Unless y'all (?) drink a LOT of tea!

  3. I have a tea chest that I use all year round. I think I have a picture of it on my blog. You do have to use sealed tea bags. Everyone loves to go through all the different teas. I just used this at my party on Saturday night.
