Do you remember playing tag at night as a child? Why has our society lost this practice? Great fun....and the closest I came to doing something positive for my "freezer challenge" this week. ::snort::
I remember playing tag, staying out doors most summer days.
One of my three oldest children's favorite memories from when they were little is playing hide 'n seek with my parents while we were visiting my grandparents. Three generations played tag while my grandparents watched from their big front porch.
We love all things tag! The kids play freeze tag, and flashlight tag. I had my class playing squirt tag during VBS last week. I think kids love any variation that you can come up with. Or maybe that's just me... lol
Oh flashlight tag - I need to bring that one out....I'm getting the idea that our neighborhood isn't used to kids playing tag in the front yards....::snort::
Your speech should always be gracious, {as though} seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person. Colossians 4:6 (Holman Christian Standard Bible)

LOL freeze tag and freezer challenge (LOL).
ReplyDeleteWhat fun! We used to have ongoing summer long games of hide and seek and often played after dark! You are right, our society has lost so much.

ReplyDeleteImagine hardin in the 40's with nothing to be afraid of and then imagine several blocks of kids playing hide-n-seek. WHAT FUN!
