Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket *Invisible by Lorena McCourtney*

This book caught my eye at the library a few weeks ago. THEN I saw the book reviewed on Debbie's blog. I knew this would be a book that I would READ and not simply take back to the library.

Ivy Malone is a LOL (Little Old Lady) - she's whimsical, quirky, and hilarious. She manages to solve mysteries and adjust to her changing life in this first book of the series. I especially laughed about Ivy's thoughts on being "invisible" - I've SEEN this. I think she may have a point.

I found myself crying, laughing, thinking.....I really did enjoy this book. It is DEFINITELY a cozy mystery - but it's a series I plan to continue.

This is another fiction book on my fall reading list. I know I need to finish up some non-fiction, but at this season in our family life - I'm reading to RELAX and fiction fits the bill.

  1. I went and requested it...........

I'm currently reading the Grace Chapel Inn series. Well, I'm on book 2 of 36! I like it. It's quaint. Reminds me of the Mitford books somewhat.

  3. What a great review, De'Etta. Sounds like it might be a sweet one to pass along to my mom. Funny is always good, in my book. :)

  4. I'll look up the author for the first book. It is written by several different people. But from what I've been told, the style of the books and the story is consistent.

The first book is Back Home Again by Melody Carlson. I really enjoyed it.

I'm reading #2 right now........Going to the Chapel by Rebecca Kelly. And so far the style is consistent.

  5. Sounds like another great series! I need to finish the Redemption series before I start anymore, but I'll sure add this one to my list!
