Family Night

It has been rare since the week of Thanksgiving to have all of us home on a Friday night. The boys have been picking up lots of hours at Chick Fil A. However, THIS night all are home.

I fixed a yummy dinner....2 baked chickens, baked potatoes/sweet potatoes, steamed cauliflower, carrots, and green beans and garlic bread.

Jamin has a writer's conference coming up next week. He will have 3 meetings with publishing houses. Here he practices giving his proposal.

Josiah went out to rent *The Gameplan*. They were OUT everywhere. They had even sold out in some stores....he did find a copy and purchased it for us. ::snort:: What a fun movie.

We topped the night off with an episode of *Hogan's Heroes*.

    Your dinner sounded scrumptious . . much better than our drive thru at McDonalds we stopped at on our way up to the church.

    What a fun night! And I just have to say that every time you mention Hogan's Heroes I think "we have to get some of those and watch them with the boys". I used to love that show and haven't seen an episode in years. :)

    De'Etta, sounds like you had a lovely evening. We rented Game Plan from Netflix earlier this week and loved it (I remembered you posting about what a good movie it was). We purchased it the next day at the PX. Thank you!

    Sounds fun. We watched The Game Plan last week. It was very cute. Just a note--I know you had problems with your blog. It loaded fine for me.

    This is really neat about Jamin giving his presentation. Just think, 1800 of us will be able to claim "we knew him when!"

    We watched The Game Plan last night. We loved this movie. I have not been able to see most of your blog for a few days. I finally went to the archives and can see it this way but it does not come up otherwise. I am glad I found you again! LOL

    Gilda - I think I've solved the problem. It had something to do with the Jesus in 2008 graphic I added....when I removed it - I could view my blog again. LOL

    I've heard really good things about this movie. We had not heard anything about it when it was in the theatre so we didn't see it. Can't find a legal copy in English yet. It probably won't be long. We are looking forward to it!
