Misawa is on the same latitude as Central Park in New York City; Newark, New Jersey; Kearney, Nebraska; Peoria, Illinois; Lima, Ohio; and Salt Lake City, Utah.
I know nothing about Japan- but I LOVED living in Hong Kong. If it is anything like it- take powdered milk! Milk was outragous.My nephew flew out of Japan for a year and loved it as well...but he was a newly wed at the time:>)
