Another Friday

Today has been HOT for OR...in the 90's. We have no fans and no ACs and even WE are hot. ::snort::

I DID find a Great Harvest Bakery. It smells so GOOD when you walk inside. They gave me some free bread for dinner. When you walk in the fresh baked bread (only 4 ingredients - well 5 water), and cookie smells assault you.....and the stacks of raw honey and such were nearly irresistible. LOL

THEN we found the Market of Choice. Wow...huge....and it seems to carry a bit of normal and lots of organic....but you do have choice. LOL

Woot....my favorite granola.

We also tried to replace Krista's driver's license again. She keeps getting different stories...but they didn't give her one. She has to get an electric bill first. They DID tell her she could drive with the copy of her driving record from AK (which shows her current license) and a copy of the police report.

I'm off to make chicken and such....Thanks, FRIEND, for "Singing in the Rain". We plan to popcorn and watch it tonight. I have some wonderful friends. Hmmm....now how long CAN I mark these "vacation" and "Japanese adventure" as we seem to have stagnated in the Pacific NW?!? ::snort::

Stacia is fascinated with the older girls' doll collection, though she doesn't understand the concept of "collection" vs. "play". She is stunned that Bre doesn't have a name for each doll.

  1. I think you're going to have to get do an interim album for the months from TX to Misawa. There's so much to this phase that it needs a special album all to itself (LOL)! I hope you're keeping some of the reports and things like that to add to the album. Years later it might be fun to see the police report, motel receipt, etc.

  2. I agree - this is an "adventure" (epic?) in itself.

And, De'Etta, I really can't imagine you "stagnating" anywhere.

Yes definitely this stage is an adventure unto itself.

  4. What a beautiful place to stagnate. Oh, to be stranded in the Pacific Northwest!!!!!To forget about your problems and think about absolutely nothing.......uh oh, back to reality.

  5. ::snort:: Um...sort of Lois...except our very presence here IS the problem. ::snort:: It's a very comfy problem to have, but I'll admit we are ready to move to Japan. LOL

Your speech should always be gracious, {as though} seasoned with salt, so that you may know how you should answer each person.
