We saw this sign up in Aomori. I'm not sure it's the best marketing for a restaurant.

    Calorie Mate was one of the first "diet" foods I ever saw here in japan. Like the Japanese version of granola bars - without the oatmeal, nuts, raisins, chocolate chips, etc.

    you can pick up a box at a convenience store or grocery store. Probably one box will be enough - but they come in various flavors. Kind of like shortbread. Kind of...

    I thought it was a restaurant! Now I know. I saw "love, love, love sand" today - looked to be a tuna sandwhich near as I could tell. LOL
