I have had really good luck with Vitacost. They DO often back order the food items I want, but I always eventually get them. AND I only pay $4.99 an ORDER for PRIORITY shipping (not a box). I'm blessed to have an APO mail box. This is a definite advantage that military members have over expats and missionaries. I am able to order things that Vitacost doesn't ship (like Prairie Gold Wheat Berries) from the co-op in TX......I'm blessed. It took a bit of work, but we are getting most of what we need through local farmer's markets, VitaCost, San Angelo Co-op, and the commissary.
We found these at the post office after we left the airport.

While it may be slow at times, we are blessed that the US Military provides us with US mail overseas.....thank you tax payers
ReplyDeleteI bet it's a relief to be setup to get the things you're accustomed to having! Must mean you're settled in....
ReplyDeleteWell, I guess all food has vitamins in it, right? Even the cheese puffs :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad you've figured it out, DeEtta!
ReplyDeleteLOL...they probably don't even check the slips. How fun to be getting so many boxes.
ReplyDeletePS-love the new look
YES, I love my APO box.....otherwise, can you imagine the expense to get things sent? Some companies would simply not sell to you if you weren't military....which makes one realize the vast difference between being military in a foreign land and being a missionary in a foreign land.
ReplyDeleteYou mean all I have to write on the forms is VITAMINS?!?
ReplyDeleteGive it a shot... LOL Works for vitacost. LOL
ReplyDeleteSis: whatever........ can't remember what I was going to say.... the 2 dogs just bothered me to get out. :):):):):):) love/prayers --- Mom T.
