This week's project
Last week Jared researched The Royal Game of Ur. He decided he could do a better job with the project than he had done. Yay - son! I challenged him to be a leader and get the little ones involved in the project. I encouraged him that he didn't have to have it done "on schedule" - that he could work on it in bits and pieces. I told him I'd go buy FINISHED wood and we could do it right.
I heard pounding....I looked. He found scrap wood and was busy working.
Before long he was joined by eager helpers.

Mike came home and took the opportunity to begin teaching "guy things". Jared said he made some comment like, "I've been negligent". I guess Jared is going to learn some skills we hadn't
planned.
BTW we had a cold snap!!! I love it.

What are you temps?
Um - high yesterday was in the 50's. YES!!!!!
I love the term "lifestyle." In fact, I just explained our homeschool to someone that way on Monday.
WOW. you're colder than us. It's 62 so far here today and it's not even noon yet.
I was WRONG it was 73* as a high yesterday and 38* as a low - it FELT cold all day. ::snort::
I love it when it gets cold too! This time, though, I got to shop for REAL winter clothes.
Looks like the guys were having good bonding time.
