Mike always brings back little tokens from him travels for the family. Not to be out done - I spent a good portion of our Saturday trip in Fredericksburg looking for things to bring back for Mike and the children.
It wasn't until Sunday night (after the Contemporary service) that we were ALL home at one time to pass out Saturday's gifts.
First - for Mike
Can you tell what it is? Those who know Mike will love this.
It's a bottle of original recipe Dr. Pepper. I bought two so we could enjoy together. To date, we've not had a moment alone to enjoy our loot. LOL
I also got Mike these - we have a running sock joke between the older boys and Mike.
I got the four younger ones these. Mike said I'll regret it. I will say that I've been awakened each morn with lovely flute music performed by Zander.
These quickly showed up in strange spots...

I still have to remind the two boys NOT to put the flutes on their fingers! Why? ::snort::
The older boys were given an assortment of Fredericksburg Fudge...which is a huge treat around here as I've not figured out how to make good fudge with honey or agave nectar.

FUN gifts!
How fun! How early does the flute music wake you up? ;) Which one is Jared and which one is Jamin in the last picture? In that particular picture they look somewhat alike. I'm feeling kind of sheepish.
LOL Bess....Jared in the grey on the left....Jamin in white on the right....
You're a brave woman buying 4 flutes! The socks are so funny!
Jen
Drums. You need drums. Zander would love a set of drums. I shall be glad to mail you Michael's old set.
Chris
Ah - Chris - we've never had drums....let's keep it that way. LOL
LOVE the socks. We used to have to put our initals on ours growing up. Nothing like walking around with a big black "L" written on my toes! ;-) My middle son just spent some of his money on a recorder yesterday at Wal-Mart - the cheap ones. It's already broken & no I did NOT break it. ;-)
