WHAT I DID

Stacia graciously woke us up at 4 a.m. This means I am VERY tired (bed at midnight) but I DID find the time to pay bills. I also went all over the house gathering checks and cash and have $2K to take to the new bank today. Yep - I need a local account. That windfall was for Mike's trailer and my elliptical machine, but it will help to pay off the credit card now...I'll reimburse it on the 15th....I believe Mom calls this "robbing Peter to pay Paul". ::snort::

I'm going to ride my bike to the post office to post the bills. (Exercise and crossing TWO things off the to do list).

The kids are getting their own breakfast - buying me the work out time.

We'll do some school today and then see about the rest of the to do list....

I'm quite sure you are right, Dorothy. Liz would say I need some chocolate but the sad, sad thing is that I'm on a chocolate ration until I loose the rest of this weight....I am even rationing tea these days because tea simply doesn't TASTE good without lots of rapadura, agave nectar or stevia in it....and cream.....and since I'm usually not HUNGRY when I have my tea, I'm not sure how to work it in.....but I'll figure this life mystery out when I have a bit more sleep.

I must get back on a sane sleep schedule. If for no other reason Bible study begins tomorrow - the ladies deserve better than a zombie who can't put two sentences together.

Exercise in cold weather can be tough. We have been debating getting an eliptical. Bessie has been running for about a year now and getting out in the cold weather is tough for her...she breaks out in hives! I think an eliptical is better for the knees than a treadmill.

Sis: Have you ever noticed that choclate is one thing that absolutely does not taste good when it says "sugar free"? :):):)

You've got more "STICK TO IT" than I do. :(:(

Dad fell again yesterday. He thinks he got up to sleep walk and the walker was in his way so he went over the top of it. Hip/leg seems fine but he has a big lip. The wire basket he has on the walker got bent. Guess we need to pray that he won't have any more crazy accidents. Like 2 in 7 days is WAY to many.

love/prayers

I'm curious about the no tea... I've actually been reading a lot about tea lately and have found a few blends that contain milk thistle which is good for your liver and recently ran across one that is supposedly good for cracked heals and dry winter skin (LOL)! Anyway.... I guess I didn't think they tasted too bad and I never use sugar in them... do you use honey in your tea? Some of the gals here do, but I haven't tried it with honey either. I *JUST* discovered (by word of mouth) a place in town that sells tea and you can mix them however you want... some mix for flavor some of the milk thistle, some general women's health blend, etc. I'm going to go there for a visit the next time I'm in town.... anyway I just was wondering more specifics of the why you're cutting back on tea since I'm just finding the benefits for drinking tea (having never been a tea drinker before)... wondering why one wouldn't want to drink it.

Cindy - because I don't LIKE herb teas....LOL I like the black tea with caffiene. LOL I do have a roobios tea that I like that I think is good for me...but I had ENOUGH of the herb teas during pregnancies to last me a lifetime. LOL
