Tour Tidbits - admin comment

If you have anything specific that you'd like to see more of, let me know. Micah has some specific questions about how our toilets work, so I'll try to video that a bit later. Hey - all in the name of education.

If there are other things in Japan you'd like a video of, if I can do it in a way that is culturally sensitive, I'm open to try. Studying Asia? Let me know what you need and we'll give it a shot.

Videos are taken at low resolution for ease of sharing on the web....and loaded directly from my hard drive to blogger....not sure what the problem could be Yvonne. I tried to do some through Photobucket but they didn't work at all.

Just so you know....someone or THING is posting strange comments in the comment section - usually in Chinese or Japanese...but it's not me....AND I would not recommend any male enhancement formulas in obscure post comments either...just so you know. ::snort::

Bathroom

I know, I know...who takes videos of their BATHROOM???? But many of the fun features of this house are in the bathroom. We have a bathroom like this in our masterbedroom as well.

There are a couple of unique feature we didn't catch in the video clip. The lights are all on the outside of the doors. Is this the case in most Japanese house, Kim, or just this builder's? Also at the top of the door is a little round hole....All we can figure is that it lets you know if someone is inside because the light is on?

I'm Home

Nine thirty p.m. and I'm finally home to stay for the day!!!!

The day began bright and early when Arielle and I headed to the chapel for MOPS. This was our first week. Arielle is a volunteer for Moppettes. I've never been to a MOPS group and looked forward to finding out more about the program. I was stumped with the first question...are you a Mentor Mom or a Member. Um.....I'm old enough to be a Mentor Mom but I still have a pre-schooler. What DOES that make me? ::snort:: I'll be speaking next month and may pick y'alls brains before this is over. I really enjoyed myself. A lot.

After MOPS we headed home for Bible Study. It cheered me greatly to have Windy and the ladies meet me at the door when I got home. Yep, they beat me. Erika surprised us with homemade soup. YUM. We decided to start at 12:30 from here on out to give a bit more of a buffer for the a.m. school or MOPS etc. It was a sweet time of study, fellowship and prayer.

After study, I did a bit of clean up, ran outside to chat with Windy a bit while the kids played, then back to base for Misawa Officer's Spouse Club. This is the FIRST time in 15 years in the military that I joined the spouse's club...tonight we put up Christmas decorations and that was fun. It was a PJ night and I did worry driving home WHAT I would say if pulled over in a foreign country in my PJ's. It was then that I remembered Mike told me to change at the club. Ah well.

If you haven't guessed by now, the blog is self-publishing this week. That allows the tour to continue when I'm not around. ::snort::
