It’s also international widows day and the theme is “it’s better to be the widow of a hero than the wife of a coward” - how perfect. Josiah will always be our hero and I’m still so proud of him for sacrificing his life and ensuring his coworker was safe. His most important moment was his last moment.

Every fun summer moment is paired with deep sorrow and an understanding that life would be so much better with you still here. Although I’m leaning how to survive without you, it never gets better or easier - just different.

You were the most perfect husband and father, and I couldn’t think of a flaw of yours even if I tried.
