Sunday is Ice Cream Day in our home....oops
Mike deliberately shut the door to all the work that was calling his name on Labor Day. What fun! This has been a particularly "full" work schedule for the past 6 - 9 months. Mike typically works from 7:30 - 9:00 or 10:00 at night. This means the younger ones don't see him for extended lengths of time. The good news is that he should shortly take his last ACSC test and not have to spend so many after hours and weekends at the office studying. LOL
We chose to go geocaching on Monday.

Jared asks to borrow Arielle's glasses after we'd all spotted the cache - except him. LOL
This was our last hunt of the day - long grass, rocks, snake heaven.
We found the general area for two other caches but both were crawling with hunters. I haven't a clue as to what they were hunting but we opted not to share the brush with hunters.
Some of us fixed dinner. Jamin and Mike surprised us with THESE on the van....YES. They've been waiting for "time" to install them.

Those figures are so cute. What is funny is that people that don't know you are going to have to be careful. They might get distracted counting your blessings on the back of the van, lol. Especially, while driving...
I would love to put those stick figures on my van. But ours would be the ultimate in boredom. A soldier, a mom and 2 kids....sigh.
And besides, my hubby doesn't want anything on our windows...he doesn't even like the support ribbons and they're MAGNETS....sigh.
LOL - Mike had thought these things looked tacky - but when he saw these he said they'd be o.k.
Oh - Beth - I first noticed these over a year ago when I followed a car that had a set. LOL
That is terrific that Mike took Labor Day off to be with all of you. It looks like you had a great day together.

WAY KEWL! We bought these last year and put them on our car. I get LOTS of comments on them and we only have 4 kids.
