I have written 1017 posts in 2007. 200 posts less than 2006, but Mike wasn't deployed for 1/2 of this year. ::snort:: I've written a total of 2356 posts in the process of this blog adventure.
I've written 57 book reviews - though I've read more books than that.
The last two months I've posted (not photos taken but actually PUBLISHED) about 300 photos a month - so I think we can safely say that I've published over 3,000 photos on the blog this year - no wonder I NEVER get those albums caught up! ::snort::
Though I'm sure there is a way, I can't tell how many visitors I've had this year - since my counter began in 2006.
I've participated in at least eight blog challenges. I've hosted two challenges.
Blogging - certainly not the most important thing that happened in 2007 - but a defining part of the year.
My purpose for blogging is to keep family and friends up to date on our lives. We've succeeded. Along the way, I've had fun, met new friends, built a sort of community, shared opinions....but over all - I've kept a family journal for another year and had fun doing it. Thanks, Jodi, for encouraging me to try this "blog thing".

One of my goals for this year is to keep my blog up so I got up and was ready to blog. I checked others blogs first and saw you had beat me to the draw!!! LOL
I am off to a good start and it looks like you are too!
LOL no one was up when I got up - and so I posted.....
I continue to enjoy your blog and can't wait to see what goes on with you and yours in 2008!
Happy New year and Happy blogging!
Happy New Year De'Etta! I have been blessed by your blog. I enjoy getting a sneak peak into your life and learning from your words of wisdom.
Blessings in 08 to you and the family!
Happy New Year!
Y'all are sweet. Sneak Peaks you often get, words of wisdom are rare....but I enjoy the sense of community we've built. LOL
It was interesting reading about your blogging stats, De'Etta. You've definitely done some serious blogging this past year. Ha!
Have you thought about listing your blog with blog top sites? They have a neat way of keeping track of your visitors and "ranking" the people listed. It's sort of fun to see your numbers go up and down over the week.
Here's the link:

This is the one for parenting. I think they are run by blog flux. Tim wrote a detailed post about how to set it up. It's a pretty technical post.

Can't wait to walk through 2008 with you, friend.
