Girls' Room

Arielle and Stacia continue to share a room. We love to see Arielle take on a mentoring role in Stacia's life. I know it's hard work for her...and there are days when we all would like to focus on SELF rather than SERVICE....but this arrangment is turning out to ultimately bless our older children as well as our younger children.

The fold up futon is cool. Enjoying the tour!

not a bad size bedroom; appears to be larger than what Abigail and Theresa shared in Korea.
Love the idea of using the garage as a playroom; hope it stays warm enough come winter

I think the warmth in the playroom will depend on how long the heater is on...duh. What I mean is that when we accidently left it on yesterday - it was toasty at night....so maybe in the winter we'll leave it on a bit more.

Yesterday, Stacia told us "It's too cold, I'll bring my toys in" but then I turned it on about 30 min before her friends arrived and they played happily out there.

They are cool, Jodi. I think I need to air them out....but it's always raining.

I'm loving your home tour. Envious of the clever window arrangement - wish my window screens rolled away when we didn't need them!

I was wondering about the garage/playroom being warm enough too... that might be expensive. But what a great idea to heat each room separately.

Sis: Love seeing the rooms. Cute in the girls room. Clouds and pink. At least it lets you know what and who belongs where.

The futon in the closet (yes I know she does not sleep in there) reminds me of the crib we had in our bedroom when Nathaniel was born.... we had 1/2 of it in the closet. It worked....put his head right by our bed. :):):) Sure was glad when we got into our own home.

Nice Arielle has a place to study etc. Pray the playroom will stay toasty warm. No reason it shouldn't most likely.
