My MEN -

*bummer I can't post pictures yet....I may join Jen at Wordpress yet....oh yeah...I couldn't get that to work either. ::snort::

Anyway - I have the best men in my life. First the grain mill. Mike understands that this is a daily tool used in our kitchen. He told me to go ahead and get another one.....BUT Josiah FIXED IT!!!! After talking with Becky we decided if Ian could fix theirs there must be a way to fix it at home. LOL The company that warranties Wonder Mill (used to be Whisper Mill) would fix it but it would be $50 to LOOK AT IT. Josiah took the bottom apart and shook out grain. It stopped mid-grind so there was flour and grain packed in it. He got out Mike's air compressor and blew stuff out from everywhere...he was covered in flour when he came in. Mike, he looked like a big version of Jamin's 4 yo escapade. ::snort:: It works...nice, strong, grinding noises again.

My plan this a.m. was to come home after serving breakfast. This was a joint Catholic/Protestant event. The Protestants had a TERRIBLE turn out....one chaplain, the NCOIC and his family, Ivey and myself. I called home and things were quiet. I told Jamin I'd carry the cell phone and that as long as things were fine at home, I'd stay and help clean and decorate the chapel. He said, "Are you up to this?" I told him I was. He asked, "Do you promise to take a nap when you get home?" - Yeah - good idea. He insisted when I got home and then I found out that Mike had called from OVERSEAS to tell the boys to make sure I got a nap today.

I am very "high energy", yet, as I age I find that if I don't sleep for days on end I DO get migraines. Strange as it may seem, my hip, wrists, and shoulders begin to ache again when I go a long time on low sleep. I was ready for a nap. It was a great nap. I woke up when I heard Zander telling Jamin, "Jamin, Jesus says you are spose to treat people kindly." I guess that ONE family way stuck in his mind. ::snort::

There are more toys at the chapel. I told them all to put them in Mike's office and I'd pick them up once a week to mail. BTW, there should be *five* numbers in the zip code if you are mailing to Mike....only one *nine*. If you have more questions about that email or call me. I can't post addresses online. It appears that some got a wrong zip - though Liz could google and figure out the right one. Liz is down right scarey!!

Those are the highlights of my day....I'll post pictures when I can....has anyone figured this out or complained somewhere???? The outage thing is over....the tool bar is still gone.

What a day you've had! Sounds like all turned out great. Your men take real good care of you. Isn't it wonderful to be loved?

Josiah, great job fixing the grain mill. I am glad you took the chance and gave it a try.

Jamin, thanks for making an opportunity for Mom to take a nap. It sounds as if she definitely needed it.

Cutie, Love you and miss you.

Mike

See, while you are napping, Zander is learning! Try that again today! See what else he comes up with while you nap!

I'm so glad your mill is working again! Way to go Josiah! When do little boys grow into helpers??? I can't wait to have an encouraging Nathaniel and a brave little Gabe to help me :) And I suppose Asher won't always spend his days crying for food :)
