Photobucket Local Ice Cream Poll

Arielle and Nolan ran a tight ship this morning, after I explained that they couldn't cooerce folks to vote for their favorite flavor. ::snort::

Everyone was a good sport and we appreciated their participation. We received 21 votes this a.m. and will tally the internet votes on 4 Nov. We'll continue to let other local friends vote until the 4th.

Below are some random photos of our local polling place....um....but... FIRST, all the laundry baskets you see in the background are shares of PRODUCE. I don't want anyone to think I have 27 baskets of laundry piled around my living room. LOL

We decided that voters could have assistance. No age limit other than being old enough to know WHICH flavor they like.

I think I'll have to link your blog to mine...so people can see pics of my kiddos! Arielle managed to get all 5 of them!

Feel free to do so, Deja. She did get them all, didn't she? She was having a blast behind the lens. I'm thinking this would be a good avenue to pursue for her as she is so painfully shy. LOL

Jen - Yep, we know it's illegal in a "real election" but then federal internet voting hasn't been adopted either. ::snort:: I let them have fun with it...but told them they couldn't watch while folks voted or try to talk them into their flavor. LOL

We've also been discussing ideas for voter reform around here....because there are so many cases of registration and voter fraud.....every 4 years....

Sis:

Dad/I love the way we vote in Oregon. You register and go thru all that stuff, then the ballots are mailed to you a few weeks ahead of any election.

All you have to do it mark the ballots when you are ready, put them in the inner envelope which is sealed, put that envelope in the outer envelope, seal it and then sign it in ink on the outside.

A person can put it in election stations which are at a fe of the postoffices or mail then in for 51 cents.
