Photobucket Share Your Knowledge

First, I'm home nursing what I hope to be the tail end of a migraine. I HATE staying in bed but did just that all afternoon and evening. NOW....I'm woozy, and tired....and home with Stacia.

About to run out of head with boredom, I checked email. I've been given permission to work on a project that has been in the shadows since July. I do NOT plan to stay at the computar all morning...but I NEED to know this...and while I nurse the migraine I can think.....

If one makes a photoshop image by layering logos, photos, fonts and such....can you then upload THAT photoshop file into the header of a blogger blog? I know you can with Wordpress...but I prefer the free features of blogger. Is photoshop going to be a bear to learn?

HEY! If the header photo you want to upload is in .jpg, it shouldn't be a problem. I'll be interested to see how it goes!

AND....!

It's almost time for Dallas!! See you soon!

Mel's right about the photo, so that's not an issue...but Photoshop is a bear to learn, unless you're using Elements, which is a simplified version of the professional product. I use Photoshop CS, but that's because I'm trying to make photography a business and need decent editing software (someday, I'll upgrade to the most recent CS, but hey, I just upgraded to CS from 7.0, lol). I've used Elements, it seems easier than photoshop, but there are limitations.

Oh, funny that I sent you a totally unrelated email earlier today COMPLAINING about using PS Elements (the EASIER version).
As mentioned above, no matter what is in your image or how many layers, you can flatten them all to one jpg file & use it just like any jpg file. So, if you can put an image of any sort into a blogger header, you can put an image created with PS or PSE into a blogger header.
But the learning of it ... well, it depends on how tricky you're getting. It's the FINDING of images in the Organizer that is making me rip my hair out. I've been using The Photosop Elements 6 Book for Digital Photographers by Kelby and Kloskowski. Because no software comes with books anymore. And I can't function without a book.

I know nothing about photoshop, but just wanted to say that I hope your migraine is ending.

I've been ill for the last couple of weeks with cold/flu and it's so frustrating not being able to get on with things!

But I know God has His reasons for slowing us down!

Ok these is how I would do it. I woudl save it twice once as a photoshop image and then as a jpeg. The jpeg can be used on your blog and the photoshop can be opened to move anything at a later time. If you don't save it as a photoshop you have to create the whole piece over if you ever want to move anything.
Hope that helps.

You and Liz are working on being professional photographers aren't you??
I have no idea what you are talking about.
The doctor told me I was taking too many migraine pills and made me take prednisone for a week. Talk about joy. I haven't slept for a week now. But no headaches. I hope you get to feeling better! Chris
