Mysteries of Life

Many of the mysteries of life come clear when you spend time at the lake. I've found this to be true. Evidently, Zander has also found it to be true.

"I've figured out how I got to this family."

"An angel came to mom and said, 'Behold you will have a son.'"

Photobucket

"Name him Zander."

Photobucket

"The angel forgot to tell Mom I'd be naughty."

I TELL him he is NOT a bad boy, I explain that he simply sometimes makes bad choices.....but he pops out with statements like this from time to time.

Can a sweetheart who brings his Mom flowers like these be a "naughty boy"? Photobucket

De,
I have to tell you this. When we were over there the other day, I was taking all the kids that were outside a cup of water. Zander was one of them. He so impressed me when he said a big thank you when I gave him his glass. No one else had. :)

Definitely a sweetheart! Good job of seeing past the challenges, Mom! I always struggle with that.

Alexander: What a special boy you are! Love seeing your foto's and hearing of all the great things you do. What a nice and good boy you are. We like the way you think things out. Pretty awesome.

Boy! how we'd love to be able to hug you, have you sit by us, and read with you and play with you.

love/prayers your 2G's T.

De'Etta, you already see the sweetness and preciousness in Zander and I have no doubt he will too.

Your Zander sounds a lot like our Matthew. Rough and tumble boys with big, loving and compassionate hearts. Indeed, how could a boy who brings such beautiful flowers to his mama be naughty? What a sweet, sweet boy!

Sis: Got to thinking that Alexander has heard the Christmas Story and it has sunk in. Love the way he is applying it to himself and letting it soak in. How neat for such a young child to be personalizing the Christmas story. WOW! Will be interesting to see how he learns to accept and apply the rest of the many things he learns from the Word, church, and Sunday school.

AH... what a sweetie. Our little one kept worrying for several months that he might end up on the "naughty" list...

Oh, that just touches my heart. It reminds me of something my Jonathan would say.

Those photos of Zander are precious. One can "see" his brain working!
