Blondes

We ran into a tour bus from Hong Kong. I thought they might be from Japan as we were picking up a few words.

One older lady came over to chat...well really to rub Stacia and Zander's blonde hair. I told them to get used to it. She was so happy to rub their hair....and try to converse with me. Zander wasn't totally sure about being told he was "pretty," but I told him it was nicer than many other descriptive words he's been called. ::snort::

When my friend was in Korea for 2 years, her blonde-haired, blue-eyed kids (boy and girl) ended up with modeling careers...the Koreans were desperate for that look! You may have some models on your hands....

This happened to Cory and Megan a lot when we lived in Hawai'i.

LOL...too funny. This reminds me of the time my parents, on a cruise in Alaska sort of did the same thing to a poor little Korean girl that reminded them of our Bess. My parents even took a picture of her...poor girl. She did look a lot like Bess, but I'm sure the little girl and her parents were thinking...what crazy Americans!

I am finally catching up on all your adventures. So sorry to hear about Beatrix. You are all being lifted in prayer.
Stay safe. My favorite photo is still the pic of you at the picnic table with the laundry basket on your head. Dedication. I love it!
