WHAT A DAY!!!!

But it's over! YES.

The day began early with children's ministry at PWOC. EVERY child in our younger room was "off". Then I discovered that Zander had acted up - somehow. I'm not quite sure how...but I know he did. I try to tell myself that at least he isn't hitting his head on the wall or spitting....it's better than it was.....but I'd sure like things to be BETTER BETTER....if you KWIM. ::sigh::

We came home for Japanese Lessons.

Arielle had middle school drama.

I worked on the Protestant News, a few more PWOC communication things, prayed a bit more, read a bit more, prayed a bit more....

I worked on my MOPS thoughts.

We ate.

THEN....we read our excerpt for the day.

Tonight was Stacia's night to grab the clue. She cracks us up by "reading" the clue from the night before. We hadn't realized what a good memory she has.

Clue: "Clearly, I can see the whole world."

This made Nolan think of the globe.

He checked out the plastic drawers. I wondered why the printer ink was on the shelf and went to put it away and found.....the gift!

A triangular puzzle.

I had a wonderful call last night about the ministry...but I found myself dragging all day. I guess I'm not as young as I once was....

Several have mentioned that Mike's Advent Devotionals, which have always been linked, are no longer linked. I'll have to try to figure that out tomorrow.

Do you have a list of all of your advent clues and hiding spots? If you have a list perhaps I might be able to give this a try... I could certainly do the globe one easily enough... it's the creativity to think of the clues that I'm lacking.

Sis: Stacia sure does have a great memory. WOW! How easy is school going to be for her! So glad you are home-schooling where she won't be held back but rather givin more stuff to stimulate her learning. God Bless Her! l/p Mom T.

After the full day you had I'm not surprised you were dragging, plus you had the temp earlier in the week. Would the med change make any difference too? I've not taken Zocor, so don't know if there's a diff. on or off it.

Praying for you, Sis.

Darshia: Thanks for the prayers for DeEtta. I have been away from the computer for several days and missed this post.

But Sis: we now know the family needs prayer so you all can be well. love/prayers --- Mom T.

Cindy,

Mike likes to handle our clues. Let me see if he has them saved on the computer. I could add the clues from last year to the index list if he does....maybe you could then tweak them to things/places you have in your home.....

{{{De'Etta & Zander}}} today must be the day for our special boys to be acting up. Matthew had a major event this morning (we call them perfect storms).

I'm praying for you both.

DeEtta,

That would be perfect! I'm just not good and creating any kind of riddle or word clue thing like what you're doing, but I'd LOVE to do this... I'm wondering about trying to do something along the line of 12 days of Christmas, but I'd have to pull it all together by this weekend. I'll try to use the clues you already have posted, but any others would sure be a nice addition to get me going.
