Preceptions

Zander got excited when he saw the wrapping paper. What child doesn't like Christmas?

He said, "Dad will come home and then it will be Christmas." I told him that Mike wouldn't be home for Christmas....then he said, "But the girls will be home?" Yep...."but they will be going back to WA"....he's not thrilled at all.

I tried to explain to him what Mike and the girls are doing...now he's convinced that since Mike is NOT in his office, he is "watching airplanes". LOL

Do pray with me that I find the way to communicate what Mike is doing and when he'll be home. We have the charts, countdown map, photos...he just doesn't get it. This is hard enough for those of us who understand, but for a little one who can't understand why his sisters and Dad left....I can't imagine.

At least *I* know that Mike likes me better than watching airplanes! ::snort::

The little toaster is cute isn't it? It's a message to my family members....don't forget your toast. ::snort::

I'm praying. Now if you could just tell me how I'm to explain to my 4yo where the new baby is and how she get's out and how to explain that just because my dh has a bigger belly than I do that he isn't carrying another baby too, I'd be extremely grateful.lolol

Oh, and she thinks she's having a baby also.

This is so very hard. Poor little Zander.
No great words of wisdom, but you can tell him we are all so proud of him for being a big boy and for sharing his daddy with the rest of in the USA.
