*Saks & Violins by Mary Daheim*
I'm partial to this author. I love the setting of the Pacific NW. In fact....I have even been known to try to find some of the locations in the book in the Seattle area. LOL
This is another of the *Bed and Breakfast* series. I enjoy the antics of Judith and her cousin Renie. I enjoy the bed and breakfast aspect of the series. I'm not sure I like these ladies aging before my very eyes. LOL
I don't know if I'm more distracted than usual, or if this book had more subtleties than usual, but I was guessing until the end to figure out who committed the murders.
I always love to read the newest additions to old favorites.

I am going to have to try this series from the beginning. We have the same taste in books and I should like it! I have read 1/2 of a book and I think it is way into the series. Crepes of Wrath I think it was. I just couldn't get into it. I'm going to try again after Christmas baking.

Ok is the wesather thing supposed to show the temperature where you are or where I am, you gals are getting too technical for me. I just visited Cynthia's blog and it's reading the same temperature as your blog and I know that couldn't be right.
Oh and adding this book to my to read list. I haven't read one of this series for awhile, I'd forgotten about Judith and Rennie, can't wait to see what they're up to these days!
Kelly - Crepes of Wrath are Tamar Myers - the Penn Dutch Inn.....
This one is the Bed and Breakfast mysteries.....by Mary Daheim....
Confusing?
Jodi - the weather things tells you MY weather and it IS cold today around here....and windy. Brrr....
BTW - we are supposed to get to 20 something tonight....really cold for around HERE. LOL
It sounds like I need to start at the beginning, not just any book? They sound very similar to Diane Mott Davidson's books, which I've read from the beginning.
Well...now I have 2 series to try LOLOL...I'll retry Tamar Myers and also try the one you just posted about.

Jodi,
The funny thing is I THINK it may have been right because DeEtta was in a cold spell and we're quite warm right now... (LOL). I think I'm going to move mine closer to the top because I never look at it so far down the page (LOL).
Ok... so is there a website where one can find this series and see the order to read them?
Yes - I'd read Daheim in order. I do a google search and find the author's webpage - always books in ORDER - but then I must read in order.
Yes it was COLD 21* last night...and I have no idea what it is today...our days are supposed to be warm and our nights cold.
Yes - these are similar to Dian Mott Davidson - anothe series I read.
