MENUS

I'm really trying to get meals back on schedule again. We didn't get up for a 7 a.m. breakfast today and it totally changes our productivity the rest of the a.m. I must do this...plain and simple....though I'm still not sure how to fit biking in yet.....Of course I really don't want to buy the machine now because I want Mike to do the research and pick it out anyway. LOL

Breakfast (fruit plate and smoothies each day)
Breakfast Burritos
Quiche
Dutch Babies
Biscuit and Gravy
Waffles

(Have made 3 lbs of turkey sausage up to age for a couple of days while the kids did table school)

Dinner (salads & fruit at each meal)
Beef Stroganoff
Pizza
Encore Presentation
Burger Burn
BBQ Meatballs over rice - hmmm maybe over potatoes as I have some to use up
Round Steak of some sort....

Sounds like a great menu for the week. What do you all do for lunch? I am really loving making my own sausage. I do mix ground beef with the ground turkey breast though.
What do you serve as a condiment for the dutch babies? I have a recipe for a dutch apple pancake that I adapted from a William Sonoma catalog that my family loves.
Stupid question, what do you mean by BBQ meatballs?

LOL - Well you KNOW I ran into my first glitch when I couldn't grind flour. LOL Thanks for letting me grind at your home....

Lunch - I let them get their own. They really LIKE to choose what they want. Jamin does sandwhiches most days and GIANT salads....and BROCCOLI...raw in great amounts. LOL

Josiah and Jared like encore presentations, pasta and stir fries....

The three littes either have a sandwhich, toast and always APPLES! LOL

Dutch BAbies - honey, maple syrup, butter....strawberries if they are season....

BBQ meatballs are a favorite around here....I make the meatballs ahead and freeze them - though I use to buy them at Sam's. LOL I make a sauce, pour it over the frozen meatballs and they are ready to serve over rice or potatoes in an hour. We had them tonight. I'll see if I've posted the recipe yet....I also use this sauce as our BBQ sacue these days...it's good on pizzas with chicken, peppers and onions. LOL

Oooh your menu sounds yummy! I tried your Beef Stroganoff recipe last week and we all loved it. Your meatballs sound really good, might have to make something like that soon:)
