Photobucket Summer Days

I had to drag myself out of bed this a.m. I did not want to go to the gym; but I did.

I did want to meet Mandy at Olive Garden for lunch.

I headed to Hobby Lobby. I had hoped to get supplies to make the farewell gift we have planned for PWOC but Hobby Lobby didn't have much in the way of 6x6 page protectors. I need to look online for a better price. We're frugal around here. LOL

We had to force ourself to do school this afternoon. Why does it seem so MUCH more tedious in the afternoon.

We closed out the United order. I should be thinking of a produce order - but that can wait for tomorrow.

After dinner we enjoyed the pool....even Jamin joined us.

The atmosphere changes when the big boys are in the pool. ::snort:: All six who were home are in the above shot. Josiah is working.

Zander was right in the middle of all the fun. As I snapped photos I saw something fly across my line of vision - it was ZANDER and I caught it on film/memory card?

The best photos of all will not be blogged. Jamin was lifting Zander high and his swim trunks fell off. What a great photo....it's spectacular...but somehow I know Mike won't let me post it...and it may not ever get printed. We shall see. It's honestly a discreet mooning really. ::snort::

Jamin and Jared headed for the gym when the rest of us came in. I love the way the pool tires out the little ones so the sleep so well at night. I may have to keep it up year round. ::snort::

Isn't it amazing how swimming will wear them out. We noticed that yesterday when our 5 yo had his first swim lesson!

LOL about the picture.

And.. you're wondering why it's hard to do school in the afternoon? It probably has something to do with it being SUMMER and there's a pool in the backyard calling their names (LOL)!

I'm so glad you're all enjoying your new pool!

I'd love it if we could keep ours up year round. It's been such a blessing, especially for Matthew, to burn off energy. Having the pool reminds me of when we lived in Hawai'i. On our weekly drives to the beach the kids were a bundle of energy. On the ride home the van was completely silent because the kids were wiped out. :)

If you need help blurring a hinny for print, let me know. You might have a program yourself where you can go in and use a blurring tool to distort the picture a bit. I have used it on cute bathroom shots before. Usually just put in a scrapbook or album.
We are loving our pool too. TO keep mud and grass out I have also used foam stepping squares to get from patio to pool. But, that doesn't always help when they get to running around the yard then into the pool. I use the gunk on the bottom as my excuse to get in the water. I have to vacuum the pool!

I love the photo! That's a great moment. We recently started a Y membership so we've been at the pool at least three days a week. I love it - and you're right about them being tired. DD is actually quiet the evenings after we've been in the pool all afternoon! It's amazing! I'm voting for a pool when we move. :)

What fun you all are having. I can not wait until our pool is ready again. We have been enjoying the brook, but it is not as convenient for me! :-p

You are so right about swimming and tiring out the kids. They seem to go right out as soon as their heads hit the pillow.

That's so cool that you happened to catch them tossing Zander through the air!

I suppose the fallen bathing suit picture might make for a good scrapbook page with some clever camouflaging of a certain area!
