Saints 29 - Warriors 17
We arrived at Jared's game to discover that there was no memory card in the Nikon. The girls raced back home to get the card. I'm glad we did. We missed the first quarter....but enjoyed the rest of the game.
This is me about to go explain to the ref that if your son is elbowed in the neck, smashed in the teeth it's hard to understand why the foul is HIS. Dillon (Jared's friend/right) and Mike explained to me that smashing someone in the face is legal. We had great seats, right under the basket. LOL

The tallest player on the team!? He looks like a GIANT next to Erik...then again, he IS only 10. My thought during the game was, "Wow! This is THE Testosterzone!"
LOL I had to show the photo of Erik and Jared - I loved the contrast. I wish I had one of when Erik made his lay up.
I am glad that game had only a minute or so left when that 4th foul came.....I could tell Jared was getting MAD...Mike talked to him about letting the other guys get mad and frustrated so they'll make dumb mistakes and keeping your cool....but legal or not, I could tell he was tired of being smashed in the face, elbowed in the neck etc... He does have a nice lump on his head from one of the encounters but at last check all the teeth are in place. ::snort::
That was a fun game to watch...and I hear the girls' team was aggressive as well. LOL
Jared: So neat to see the expressions on your face. love you tons.

I don't get all those things either. Our son isn't one of the taller players on his team, but he is pretty aggressive and makes a fair number of shots so I always think he's a target as well.
Basketball injuries--let's see--we've had a split lip (stitches), cut eyebrow, grapefruit-size bruises, black eyes, torn ligament, concussion, dislocated shoulder...and that's my DAUGHTER!! lol.
Great bball pictures.
Cindy - I'm not quite as clueless with basketball as I was with football! ::snort::
LOL Donna.
Nice action shots.
