Random Misawa Trivia: Miss Veedol

This will be something we explore soon after reaching Misawa. The first non-stop flight across the Pacific Ocean was from Misawa, Japan to Wenatchee, Washington in 1931 in Miss Veedol. The men, Clyde Pangborn and Hugh Herndon dropped their landing gear over the Pacific Ocean belly landing in Wenatchee.
Misawa and Wenatchee are sister cities. I've been to Wenatchee several times. I can't wait to visit the museums in Misawa.

I've asked this question on several people's blogs and so far no one has answered me yet. HOW do you get those 3 icons for clickable posts at the bottom of your entry?

Hmmm - it didn't show up for this post on my blog. ::snort::

Lightly in grey you will see a link that says "link within"...click that and it will take you to a site that allows you to do it in about 30 seconds. Easy and a nice widget. I've been exploring various widgets in the google "add an element" que....searching for various things...I had no idea there were so many options.

I haven't a clue how it picks which stories to link....I thought it would be key words....but I don't know how we got illness update, annual grain order and whatever on a Miss Veedol post. ::snort::

Ok. That makes more sense now. I was looking for it in the actual blog entry section. And, at first I thought Debbie (where I first saw it) was linking similar stories for that post. Now I notice that it does seem rather random. THANKS for sharing where you found it. I thought I was losing my mind when I couldn't find anything like that in my post sections (LOL).
