Today was productive...though I thought I should have gotten more done.
- We're scheduled at McChord Sunday night.
- I hope I have an appt with Sgt. A at 0730 on Monday.
- I have a tourist passport appt scheduled for 10:30 on Monday.
- We have discounted rooms from M-F night.
- I've priced rental vans. Still thinking on that one. If we don't do that, I'll need to get insurance on the van before Sunday.
- I did more paperwork for Well's Fargo.
- Mom bought running shoes for Mike and Jared.
- Mom and I took Stacia shopping for "pink running shoes" - hers were stolen.
- We visited with Mom and Dad.
- We got Krista home in time to get to work.
- We are now going to go relax......and hit it all again in the a.m. - the list is still long. LOL
You KNOW you've been traveling too long when the laptop is called the "big screen" by your son. ::snort::

Is Mike a part of USAA? They're very easy for insurance - I added a car to our policy online in just minutes.
De'Etta,
When I read your posts of all you've accomplished and all you have yet to do I find myself picturing the Little Engine That Could, puffing steadily up the hill. I pray you'll soon be coasting down the other side!
Julie
LOL about the "big screen."
Hang in there friend. You ARE nearing the end of this PCS of PCS's...what stories you have! I agree about The Little Engine that Could...only you've been at this for MONTHS and MONTHS, haven't you? Praying for open doors and no problems from here on out.
One thought about the van...have you looked at cars to rent? Many larger cars (even a Ford Taurus) will seat 6 and are much much cheaper than vans. BUT if your mom or one of the girls was going with you, I'd recommend you rent TWO compact cars...it could end up being the cheapest deal.
good point Deja.... mini vans are much pricier to rent.....so if you have two drivers, Deja has the right idea
Looks like things are starting to come together...
Sure was good to see all of you.
Sounds like great progress. Still praying for the things still needing to be done to come together and work.
