Just a Day

The laundry stayed put!

Bible study was refreshing and fellowship was sweet.

Added two new members to the Asia Region Team (Board).

Talked with John S (Michael's endorser), did not talk with Michael. Tomorrow.

Worked on some details for the local retreat. I do like building teams and growing closer to each other as we work towards the goal.

Still brainstorming on retreat outlines....coming together.

Met Jim, Twyla and boys at the Food Court and then on to see, "How to Train a Dragon". Good movie, nice to visit with friends. Nice to see lots of friends there....starting to feel at home here in Misawa.

Did I mention school? We've finished two solid weeks of school this week. We'll probably get at least another 1/2 done tomorrow. We're pressing.

What is an endorser?

Does your MWR provide free movies for active duty military families? We had that in Seoul - it was a wonderful perk

Hi Linda
I will step in and answer this one. For me to serve as a chaplain in the military, I have to be sponsored - endorsed, if you will - by a religious denomination. Without this endorsement, I have no standing to serve as a chaplain. There are no "freelance" chaplains. We have to have a church group willing to say that we represent them in the military community.

Ok! I knew that because a previous youth minister at our church went into the army as a chaplain. However, I didn't know the term for it! Thanks. :)

Sounds like you're making great progress on the school front. YEA! I bet that feels SO GOOD!

Glad you're feeling more and more at home.

The commraderie of planning something *big* is one of the things I just LOVE about co-op!
