I heard about these healthy vegan snacks on a Facebook page and set out to try them. Here are a variety of ingredients - process works the same. If you know of other ways to fix these, I'd love to hear. These are a high protein, high fiber, low fat snack - no sugar depending on the seasonings you use. I also like them on top of salads. I'll add variations to this page....I'm contemplating some ranch flavored Chickpeas.

I'm going to try this. I can remember garbanzo beans when I was a child, but I can't remember what my mom did with them--in a salad, maybe?
But we usually call them butt beans. They look like little butts. :D In fact, if I were to say "garbanzo," "chick peas," or "ceci beans," one of my kids would definitely clarify by asking, "Do you mean butt beans?"
I'm trying one
of these--at least one!

I can't wait to try one of these, it's just the choosing which one to start with!! Thanks for sharing. Wendy
I bake them until they are crunchy like corn nuts...and it takes a long time...because I like them better that way. LOL
My husband likes the salty, onion, garlic one...he's not liked any of the others....may be a good one to start with. ::grin::
HI: I need to try them. Love all these kinds of beans. I must start eating right and high protein high fiber items are a must......... why cuz the fiber will carry away lots of the cholesterol. This month for the 1st time ever my arteries have a small bit of plaque...... Dr. B said my arteries are like a 60 yr old........ she also said time to watch things..... I AM NOT GOING TO END UP WITH BLOCKED ARTERIES. Anyway less sugar, salt, fat and all the good stuff will be good for me....but how boring. :):):):) gonna be careful cuz I like the idea of arteries that are only 60 yrs old. :):):):):) Wish my wrinkles we way back like they were when I really was 60. :):):) love/prayers - mom t.
