Local Pool Thoughts
Lake Pool opened the same weekend as the military appreciation thing out there. It is not open today...but China Beach is. We'll be there this afternoon if it isn't storming.
Our base pool pass (for a family - 3 pools) is $50. They had a great chuckle when I said I needed 11 passes and they didn't charge me extra! They said so far that they think we are the biggest family who has bought a pass.
Brown's Pool pass - are you ready???? $130 per PERSON!!!! I can't imagine! We'll stick with the base pool passes.

I hope your pools have better swim times that the ones here in N TX. None of them open for family swim until the afternoon, and then close three hours later. I'm used to KY hours where the pool was open 9-5. I really like the Natatorium near us, however. It's nice being able to swim inside and not worry about sunburns. *grin!*
That is one of hte things I'll miss in Germany - pools. NOne of the US installations have pools :(
