Let the Repairs Begin

Photobucket

It appears that the previous owners of this home wired the stove directly into the wall. In other words, there was no plug in. IF we'd have had an inspector who was ON HIS TOES when we moved in this would not have passed. Mike fixed this today.

I hope you don't have too many projects to deal with.... Last year when we were thinking of selling we ended up with 2 solid weeks of working everyday to do a list of things that had to be done before we could get the seller's insurance... At least the thought of moving motivated us to do some things around here (LOL) we might not otherwise have done.

It's always like this...and we laugh because supposedly many of these things are done to "pass the inspection" to sell....but they obviously weren't done 2 - 4 years earlier when WE had the house inspected.....I'm so glad we will not have to sell a house 3 years from now....it's much nicer to focus solely on the NEW place. ::snort::
