Kodak Moment? For Real?

Stacia and I needed to use the potties at the park. There were only Japanese potties.

We had a briefing last week and now I KNEW the proper technique. I thought it was worth a try. I stood Stacia in a corner of the stall to wait for me ... um... let's not get TOO graphic...the point of the story is coming....and it is WORTH preserving in our family journal.

I was doing great....I mastered the stance, though I think I may still be using the thing backwards, I don't much care. Just as I was feeling pretty proud of myself and commenting to Stacia that she and I rocked..... I heard Stacia say, ::gasp:: ::snort::

"Let's take a picture of this, Mommy!"

"No!"

"Smile, Mommy!"

"Stacia, STOP."

She took THREE photos and I promptly deleted them from the camera. I will not allow her to keep the camera safe next time we go on an adventure of this magnitude. ::snort::

This photo taken AFTER walking out of the restrooms, is fairly cute. ::snort::

Sis & Stacia:

Way to go!!! Oh goodness, my sides are busted from laughing.

Guess she is another Goecker who has a knack for picture taking. :):)

She looks so cute with the birds.

Maybe I'll send Stacia a secret package with a little digital camera inside. She obviously has a knack for photography. ;D

Stacia continues to BEG for our cameras...and she does have a funny perspective on life. I have posted a few of her photos before...because if you take 2 or 3 hundered you are sure to get a spectacular shot. LOL

Ronnica....I also wondered what I would have done if it were on film....I think I would have been tempted to throw that roll away. ::snort::

This is the best laugh I've had in a long time! Offers another dimension to recording for "posterity". :) Stacia is such a wonderful blessing!

Ahhhh! Then we could have given you pointers on your "style" and "position"! Remember - face the raised part! SMILE!

She's been trained well to record everything...oh my word! Better keep an eye on that one. Anyways...she's so adorable with the birdies...

Sarah said the same thing, "It's a good thing it was a digital camera!" It's funny too, because I check your blog before lunch, then over lunch I share funny anecdotes from the Goeckers. I started by saying, "Oh, something funny from the G's" and Eric said, "It's not a BATHROOM story again, is it?" We all enjoy laughing at your expense, although, couldn't you have posted the pics with little black rectangles in appropriate spots???? Like the sumo wrestlers. Thanks for the laugh.

::snort:: Lois...."little" black rectangles? I don't think so.

Tell the kids hello. Hey - you COULD do space A and come visit us.....think of the field trip opportunities.
