I have it on good authority that the blog takes "forever" to load here in Misawa. I've removed items in the side bar.... The only thing I can think of is the template I switched too a week or so ago....as it was loading fine before then. There is also the chance that the problem is VERIZON and not my blog....but I'll go plain and see if that helps....actually I'll change templates soon here and see if a new look helps the loading time.

The background was holding it up (as in more than a minute) for me. It came up immediately this time!

I think any template that isn't blogger will take extra time...but I don't plan on going with boring white for long. LOL I also removed quite a bit from the sidebar....the combination helped. :;grin:: But I can't stand colorless for long.

I don't think the blog skin will matter... people enjoy reading your blog for what you post not for what the background looks like or even the things in the sidebar. I'm guessing most don't read that very often... at least I don't since it doesn't change often.
