Marshmallow Guns???

I've still not found a Feingold friendly marshmallow....certainly not in Japan. Blue dye and yuck in them...but they taste so good.

The white coals SCREAMED for roasting marshmallows and making s'mores. A treat we've not had  at home in recent years.....and one that used to be a part of every camping trip and many BBQ's.  Twyla and Jim made some yummy ones for all the guests at the lake last week..... Before I knew it - we were grilling......No, I don't keep marshmallows in the house....but the kids got marshmallow guns for Christmas.... ::snort::  ::gasp:: They willingly sacrificed the ammo.

Yes, bamboo yakitori skewers for sticks....

I also don't keep Hershey's in the house and didn't want to WASTE the organic graham crackers I order from vitacost on such small marshmallows and chocolates..... thus was born the world's smallest s'more....

It's hard to tell, but it's a mini-mallow, with a chocolate chunk between two Annie bunny grahams. Tasted wonderful.

Great thinking. It looked like fun. I am trying to do s'mores out here, but still waiting for the coals to be right. So far they have been too far gone after all of the meat has been cooked. Yours look yummy - though really small.

Sadly, we haven't found safe marshmallows within 2 hours of our home. We've successfully ordered some Feingold-approved marshmallows from Squirrel's Nest, though. I read that the company only ships within the US, but do you have a military address that would subvert that limitation?

I was saving a bag in our pantry--time to get them out:) Yum!

Sis: Must be I did not ship the makings for smores to Japan last time. China and Afganastan got the stuff.

This next one will have it all. Wait until you see the size of the marshmellows..... :):)

sounds like fun. We are thinking of roasting marshmellows at the group meeting at our house tomorrow night. even we older folks like this kind of stuffl :):)

It was wonderful catching up with you on your blog. It reminds me of living in MIami, we were always 10 minutes from the beach. :)

I never gave you this recipe for homemade marshmallows?! Okay, so there's no dyes in them...but it does call for corn syrup. You can use agave nectar...unless you think it's as bad for you as corn syrup ;-)

Lisa, thanks for catching up. It's fun to do, isn't it?

Deja - do you use white sugar in this? I guess I'm not looking for "healthy" just less "unhealthy". LOL Yes...I do use agave nectar on the rare occasion.....but I just got a lemonaide recipe so maybe I'll use it more. LOL
