Jared had to work....and Nolan and Arielle went to Api with the youth group. This meant an early a.m. for Michael to ferry all to base.
He came home and caught up on some more sleep.
Later the Stacia, Zander, Michael and I went to look for fun. EVERYTHING we tried seemed to be closed...but the Weasel's Den was open. Since we don't live on base, we aren't tired of going to the Den. We played some mini-golf.....
We enjoyed Stacia's unique golf swing...
And discovered Zander is good in the batting cage

The kids got home and I cringed as I heard their stories. They and Mackenzie went snowboarding. I assumed there would be a bit of instruction or chaperons staying with total newbies....but apparently not. The three of them tried snow boarding for a bit...then decided to go to the top of the mountain - ended up on the professional slope and took 3.5 hours to get back down....but they all survived and seem happy to try it again. I was happy no one died on the mountain.

HI: OH the fun of being a teen or near teen and adventuring out. :):):) Nice to hear about it all after the fact. Seems like Stacia and I just might have fun doing m-golf together. :):):) love/prayers - Mom T.
WHEW! the 2 words one must figure out by sight are tough! OR is it my eyes are fuzzy etc. :):):) But i can still get the job done. :)
I still worry about the kids snowboarding/skiing! Glad they made it down ok!
