*Every year there are about 1,500 small earthquakes, or tremors, all over the country. This will feel familiar after living in Alaska.
*Japanese Children learn two alphabets...and they need to learn about 2,000 characters!!!!! (That laminated card seems like a better idea all the time).
*There are a LOT of Japanese celebrations.

I want to send you a trivia thing. A liter (quart) of milk runs between $1.50 and $2.00! Hope it's cheaper on base!!!
Kim - I'd been wondering about that - I'm going to ask our sponsor today....so you're saying $6 -8 a gal? OUCH.
Yep. And, I cant' remember gasoline prices, but - in town, it is sold by the liter too!
BTW - we had a VERY STRONG Jolt yesterday afternoon. Get ready for a bit of rock and roll, kids!
