WORKING AT THE CAR WASH!!!

One thing Mike always does for me, to show love and nurturing, is keep my van's gas tank full. OK that may not seem like much to YOU but I never seem to remember....and when it's 110* or -20* outside - nothing says ROMANCE and LOVE like keeping the tank filled. :::snort:::

Tonight both vehicles are sitting on "E". After dropping Rascal off we stopped for gas. I couldn't believe that Sam's was selling gas for MORE than the station across the street. We went across the street.

Then we drove past the car wash. I KNOW, we're strange; BUT if you keep your children sheltered from lots of television....well they don't become jaded. :::snort::: Our kids think a trip to the car wash is a great adventure! Stacia had never been to the car wash. Below are some shots of her first car wash. Quick thinking on Jamin's part to grab the camera.

Ahhh, Stacia doesn't look very pleased.

When Doug went to work at 2pm, our gas was $2.05 a gallon. I drove by at 8pm and gas $2.23 a gallon!! Goodness, so glad we filled up earlier!

Is your computer fixed now? I am glad you are posting pictures again.

No - my computer is still dead....but windows should arrive in the mail any day and I'll attempt to revive it...OK NOT ME....a really nice friend's husband. LOL

I learned how to work the card reader on the boys' computer. We have lots of computers. The boys' computers are much nicer than mine....much faster I discovered to load photos. LOL

Oh I LOVE the last one! That's a keeper. (My 9 yo said it was a hoot. lol) And, we have that family that though we watch TV we watch little, don't get a lot of the toys and such that are out, don't spend money on huge trips and going all over the place... so my kid likes car washes too. :)

Hey - maybe it's a homeschool thing. LOL The children are so deprived and unsocialized that they consider a trip to the carwash to be an adventure. :::snort:::

My kids LOVE going to the carwash as well. In fact we get asked almost everytime we get gas if we can "Please go through the carwash?". It's the little things huh:)

Spokane is has got the 2nd highest gas prices in the country..yeah...woo-hoo for record breaking....actually I found it for $2.47 the other night and couldn't believe my "luck" (I'd say it had more to do with Providence though; ) anyways...
