KIM!!!!

Can you read this sign? We would love to know what it means!

Photobucket

It was at either end of Chuo Park.

Does it mean there is a Nursing Home nearby? Does it mean that this is a nice place for SR Citizens to visit????

Hi friend! Didn't want this to get lost in other posts...but I still read this blog! Feeling your frustration and desire to spread out a bit. I imagine your TLF isn't much bigger than the camper... Sounds like you are making the most of this unbelievably long transition with all of your outings. I imagine once you are settled and in school that the outings will diminish. So I'd rack up all your outings ;-)
Really missed your presence at MNO the other night.

De'Etta- It SAYS "SHILU-BA-ZO-N" "kokokara"
"Silver Zone" "From here"
Um- what does this mean?? I can't say. Kim will have to help you with that! :)

Sounds like it may be a warning that there is a nursing home nearby or lots of elderly cross the street in that location??? Much in the way we mark school zones and deer crossings??

Deja - YES - I keep thinking that it will be HARDER to learn where things are once the snow and ice arrive...so I'm making the most of our days with lots of time and nice weather. LOL

Tammy, THANKS. I love it...Silver Zone...if I don't find a hair dresser soon I will qualify. ::snort::

I'm guessing there must be a nursing home or something in the area.....I know there is a park, city hall, the library and the city gym.....

Yep! Silver Zone. Must be lots of elderly living (and walking around) in the area - as there are few nursing homes in Japan. Kind of like a kid zone!

I was going to ask you about nursing homes. We visited one and I was surprised two of the birthday celebrants were only 67 and 71. I thought that would be very uncommon here.

Sis:

67 & 71.... WHAT!!!!

We're not old!!! Nobody has told us that yet..... I'm not going to be old until I am totally nuts and forgetful!!! Think that will NEVER happen. :):):)

Anyway, we belive that old age is an attitude of the mind mostly. Health enters into the equation a bit but in our case not yet. :):):)

lvoe/prayes, You OLD parents. :):):)):):):)
