Quick Update

I have deliberately stayed away from the computer in the past week, but it's time to give an update. I do still have aches and pains if I miss a dose of Ibuprofen. I have decreased the dosage from 800 mg every 8 hours to 600 mg every 8 hours.  I took the advice to "rest my brain" very seriously this week. I DID have some things I needed to do...but I rested... a lot. I did everything I was told to do to recover as quickly as possible from my concussion.

I spent a lot of time gazing at candles. I slept more this week than I did in all of 2022. I watched BreZaak's kids 2 days this week. I made meals to deliver to those who needed them.

Today, I went to church, and, though I had quite a headache after worship, I thoroughly enjoyed it.

We had a family over for lunch and games, and it was just fine - with the proper Ibuprofen planning.

I'm doing well. I get a bit confused from time to time. I seem to get tired quickly, and I don't like spending much time on either the screen of my phone or computer. I still get headaches and feel a bit woozy.  BUT I did organize photos just now and managed to type this before throwing in the towel. I will be working at blogging this week.

I have a busy week coming up, and I will continue to listen to my body's cues. I will rest as much as possible while also trying to get back to the things I "need" to do. Michael keeps reminding me to think in terms of getting "better in 2 days" rather than "back to normal in 2 days."

So, "Yes, I am better."

I am sure that everyone is telling you everything - including me! But take it easy!! It can take a while. Son barely had a concussion and it took him 4 weeks. Not everyone is that slow but there are folks who are..... too bad I live in MA otherwise I would bring you food!! Alaska to MA is too far. : )

Wouldn't it be fun to live in the same town?

Yes! I would like to put everyone that I want in the same town! Maybe that is heaven.
