Jamin and Jared had their first day at House of Faith today. This is a program that takes backyard Bible clubs into neighborhoods. They have some very colorfully decorated buses. They seemed to have a good time. They both mentioned being the only boy on their teams…but boys are in high demand.

Krista and I got our hair done. I’m not sure that mine looks much different….she went with a dark brown and blonde high lights….so the ends aren’t totally white and that’s good. We also were able to cut some more off. I guess it covers the gray. It looks pretty much like my natural color….and I wanted something FUN but she told me I should do this now and do something FUN next time. I’m sure she is right. I won’t be going back to the old lady…..Heather then cut Krista’s hair. She is just 18 years old…graduated in June. She’s the new girl at the shop and so charges less for hair cuts and such…but she gives the best haircuts we’ve EVER received.

Bre worked with Arielle, Nolan and Zander on a human video today. They are getting it. She and Krista preformed for us and it was cool. It’s acted to a Stephen Curtis Chapman song – maybe titled *Free*.

Bre and I fixed Chicken Divan for dinner. Yum. It really was good even with the new “adjustments” for health….white sauce instead of cream of mushroom soup, fresh ground flour instead of all purpose, fresh squeezed lemon juice, fresh Broccoli and such.

I found pizza screens at amazon.com and ordered some. We’ll have them by next week. Jamin is watching the video as I type. Mike thanks for the tip. We copied the video to a CD and it runs great on THEIR computers….guess mine really is slow. LOL

Bre, Krista, Jamin, Jared, Arielle, Nolan, Zander and Stacia accompanied me on a walk. The moon was GORGEOUS and I HAD to get out to see it. There was a chill in the air this morning and the night was wonderful….I think MAYBE summer is about over down here. Texas shines in the winter…parks, lakes, no ice or such…..the best thing about winter??? THE SNAKES GO TO SLEEP!!!!
We discovered a new product today. If Stacia can't be the Gerber baby maybe she can be the Organic Chocolate Baby. {G}

Our Dove Baby

Chocolate Rocks

*No - I did not GIVE her the chocolate...but I did leave the chocolate unattended and she managed to climb up and help herself.....so I took pictures.
Krista's new hair style
OK the toilet paper trail is gone and the BDU wearing bear is up.....I wish I could figure out how you all do the seamless smileys....but at least this is a bit more respectable. It didn't originally have the box thing but hey - boxes are better than bathroom stalls???? At least you can all rest assured that I'm not trying to send subliminal messages about the Air Force. :::snort:::
STRANGE DREAMS

Sleep is always a challenge the first few days when Mike is away. I ended up with both little ones in the bed last night - what happened the visions of lounging alone in a giant bed and reading late into the night???? SmileyCentral.com

Maybe all those extras in the bed contributed to my jumbled dreams. It seems the whole War on Terror was really started as a way for my sweet, romantic, enduring husband to leave his hard to live with wife. I woke up thinking "that was the weirdest dream I've had in a long time"....and immediately telling myself to "Take every thought captive to the Lordship of Christ" and to get a grip! I also reminded myself that Mike is traveling and wouldn't be able to call until tomorrow.

The phone rang unexpectedly (ya'all KNOW not to call me at 6 a.m.!!!) SmileyCentral.comand it was Mike calling to say he's in Germany and had been given 5 minutes to call home. He assured me that while we can both be difficult to live with at times the war department did not cook this up to give him an escape plan.

How good of God to make sure I got quick resolution on that dream. SmileyCentral.com
