Nolan and Zander both have the G family cowlick.....well they wanted skater hair.....yesterday Zander was quite taken aback by Andrew's spikes when we met to bowl. He kept telling Andrew, "Your hair is sticking up but mine isn't". This was quite funny because his WAS sticking up despite water, gel, and hair spray. He had a major "Alfalfa" going on!
Today he exclaimed, "Mom, my HAIRS sticking up".
"Yep, it is", I told him.
"Well...hmmm...let's cut it!", he replied...and so we did.

I have one like that, it looks fine buzzed, it looks fine long-ish but that whole in between time is very awkward with a sticky up bit in the middle!
Poor Nolan - he is determined to get skater hair.....and it sticks out everywhere. The other day Krista tried convince him that he should wear it spiked but he was to conservative for it...though I thought it was daring and cute. LOL
I have one just like that too. In fact, he didn't get a haircut the whole time he was with my Grandma. So, the first thing we did on Monday was to go get him buzzed...

Yep - I've always handled the boys terminal cowlicks with buzz haircuts....but there comes a point when each one of them has wanted something different. I'm really not sure Nolan's will EVER lay down nicely.....but the other boys' did eventually get a length where it cooperated. Nolan's cowlicks are NOT in one spot though.....
