Um MOM - are you saying *I* was this much of a handful? How can that be? You had me when you were 21....I was sure this was because I'm OLD. ::snort:: And are you saying I'm a rascal???? A phone call may be in order. ::snort::

Sis: You decide... :):):):):):)
1. Falling out a window that was LOCKED and very hard to open. This was around 7ft down. You fell on a low bush and so Grandma Simmons only had to run out in panic to find you were OK. This happened when i was in the hospital with Willie. Maybe you were trying to protest an addition coming into your world.... :)

2. I already mentioned the under the bed getting your hair all caught on the crib springs. Again when Grandma Simmons was here when I was in hospital with Willie. Hummmmm?

3. Always on the counter tops trying to get into the cupboards.

4. You could open anything we put on the cupboards to keep them closed.

5. Actually, we didn't think much of all your doings because in those days, as you say, we were younger than you are now.

6. Even when taking you shopping it was a challenge to keep you in your stroller and/or the shopping carts.

7. Lost you once because you had gotten out of the stroller and was trying to climb up the inside of the rack of clothes I was looking at. Scarry!! At least in those days kids breaking away from a parent were not in such danger as it is these days.

8. AND talking, talking, talking, to us and anyone who would listen. Even when a little kid you were the friendly type and really was social.

9. AND to be in control was your way.

Anyway, you were and are a delight. It is so neat as a OLDER PARENT to look back and see how all the crazy little things a child did is serving them so well as they are adults and busy with life and often ministry.

Hang on because you are in for some real blessings from your kids. You other ladies also..... just wait and enjoy whatever your child becomes as they look to the Lord for guidance.

Goodness, I sound a bit preachy. Oh Well!

I give up! I apologize! ::snort:: So....is this the ole' "mother's curse"? When you grow up you'll have one just like you?

Preachey? I think it runs in the family. ::snort::

Yup and no apology needed. :) Guess it must run in the family to get preachy.

had dinner after church with Uncle Ole's gal, Deanna. She seems nice and is the same age as Dad/I. 39 you know!!! :):)

Next time he comes down to visit her we will have John/Helen Simmons over also. We were all at EBC together etc.
